I started Swirl ’n Sip because I wanted a place to share, to write, to help others experience all that wine has to offer, answer wine questions, and because I think it could be fun.
As I launch Swirl ‘n Sip there are a few things on my mind, all of which I will dive into more in future posts:
- Wine is such a personal and shared experience, both at the same time.
- There is such a beauty in wine—the product, the taste, the presentation, the viticulture, the process, the people…the list goes on.
- Wine education is so detailed and you can truly go as deep or as shallow as you like. For me, I have been eyeing that WSET certification.
- For now, I want to focus on North American wines, grapes, land—and the people who make them—so that is what you will see come to life first.
